Nothing wrong with a bit of ambition

Happy New Year to you. Here’s hoping 2018 brings health and happiness in equal measure. And what better time to visit our intentions before life gets the better of us.

Obviously the important thing is getting a handle on those perennial bugbears, cancelling the un-used gym membership, actually reading the books we say we’ve read. And of course, what better time to set some goals … world domination for example? Nothing wrong with a bit of ambition. Especially in January when you’ve foresworn alcohol and the diet, let’s face it, is as good as it’s going to be. So in the spirit of the best of intentions, we’re launching these natty New Years Resolution posters with some pointers on self improvement.

Ouch!

You’d think the New Year might bring some respite from the seemingly unending litany of folks stepping up to take a punt in the misdemeanour sweepstakes. Let’s hope the downfall of some massive high rollers in 2017 and beady eyed scrutiny from institutions and public alike can keep us all on the path of rectitude. Take Bernie, our newly released jailbird, keen to make a fresh start, 2018 sees him forging a whole new career. It’s great to see that the old dog can learn some new tricks.

We’re also excited to see our very own Clifford Samuel slumming it in the BBC’s McMafia. Good to see he’s keeping up the financial skills honed with the Bernie team.
