Here’s a reminder of our 12 Days of Christmas epic.
Internal communication done properly can change a culture. Whether the subject is as mundane as personal data or as serious as a prison sentence. Take for example how to approach the thorny questions of ethical behaviour in business. It’s a minefield of apparent paradoxes. Sure you want to ‘Get the killer piece of intel on the competition’ or ‘exploit the margins’ or find the loophole no-one else has spotted. But, with opportunity comes temptation and that needs to be tackled head on.
Take the recent revelations in the hacked Paradise Papers showing the fine line between evasion and avoidance. Watching these all too human instincts played out in comedy form, with all their consequences is way more powerful than any Powerpoint presentation. No one gets incarcerated and the effects are tangible and sustainable. You can start the conversation or discussion without any finger pointing or nagging.
What can we say … we love to watch other people getting nailed for it. As in our compliance and ethics campaign in a box – Tuesdays with Bernie.
