Episode 0: Teaser Trailer

In this six episode series, newbie Simon is sent to visit Bernie in prison, after the veteran trader is arrested.

Through their conversations, Simon discovers that Bernie’s behaviour in prison is disappointingly similar to his behaviour in the office, and that even on the inside, he still has trouble telling right from wrong.

Episode 1: Just Might Learn Something (Spoofing)

Simon is sent to visit Bernie in prison, after the veteran trader is arrested. He takes him some items to trade, and discovers that Bernie’s behaviour in prison is rather similar to his behaviour in the office…

Episode 2: A Way With Words (Market Manipulation: Setting Prices)

Simon arrives at the prison to see Bernie and gets unwelcome attention from the guards – he doesn’t know the prison lingo and says things that arouse suspicion. Bernie explains that on the inside words have different meanings. You never know who might be listening and get the wrong idea. But when Simon points out that the same is true in the work environment, Bernie acts confused.

Episode 3: And Eat it Too (Import/Export Misclassification)

Bernie persuades Simon to bring in a giant ‘cookie’ from the local bakery, bending prison rules that ban cakes. Simon’s on edge, but Bernie attempts to calm him by pointing out that he’s done something similar before...

Episode 4: The Great Escape (Anti Trust: Meetings and Conferences)

Simon shows off the way he got out of an awkward conversation at work, which makes Bernie remember when people have made abrupt exits from his own conversations. Simon points out that timing is everything, just as the prison alarm sounds...

When Bernie subtly encourages Simon to keep his concerns over a deal he’s working on to himself, suspicions are aroused. Bernie offers to reveal why he’s in prison, in exchange for Simon’s silence...

Episode 6: La Trivi-ata (Anti Trust: Bribery and Gifts)

After receiving opera tickets as a gift from a company currently bidding on a deal, Simon turns to Bernie for advice. Soon the whole prison is begging to take the tickets off his hands... One way or another...

While still trying to find out why Bernie is behind bars, Simon mentions some irregularities about the deal he’s working on. Bernie points out something alarming…

Episode 2: Harmless (Government Corruption)

After spending the previous day planning a big event with Lauren, Simon arrives at the prison in high spirits. However, Bernie quickly serves time on Simon’s excitement when he points out that the event can’t happen because the company they’d be entertaining is part-owned by their national government.

Episode 3: All Talk (Market Manipulation: Overheard Conversations)

Brad likes to brag about all the big deals he’s working on, even when in the local bar. Simon’s worried and enlists Bernie’s help, and between them they try to make Brad see the error of his ways.

Simon is terrified of telling the boss, Mr Dawson, that his latest deal has to be renegotiated after Brad missed the boycott language on the contract. So he turns to Bernie for advice…
